• Chris was born on December 30^th, 1964 in Edmonton Alberta to his mother Elizabeth (Eleniak) and father Harry Pelech. He grew up in Edmonton Alberta with his brother Greg and sister Val.
  
  Chris left Edmonton at 22 years of age in April 1987 in search of a new adventure. During the same year and month, his wife Uria arrived in Toronto from St. Lucia. They met at a party on Easter Sunday, where Chris could not keep his eyes off of Uria. He had only gone to say hello as Uria was leaving the party. After a brief introduction, he tried to kiss her on the cheek, but simultaneously she turned her head and they kissed on the lips accidently. Chris got Uria’s phone number through a mutual friend and they became great friends for a year before they started dating. The pair got happily married in 1990. They had their first son Christopher in 1991, their second son Kevin in 1999, and their daughter Sarah in 2000.
  
  Chris lived for his family and friends. He was a devoted father, had always been proud of his family and spoke greatly of his kids, wife and siblings. He tried his best to remain optimistic in every situation and always had a solution for anything his family and friends had to face. Chris always made an effort to help anyone he could, leaving a strong impact on those he connected with. He enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, spending time with his family, talking business, looking for opportunities and always being resourceful.
  
  Christopher Harry Pelech passed away on May 12^th 2021, after a lifelong battle with chronic illness. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife, Uria, and his three children, Christopher, Kevin and Sarah, at the Toronto General Hospital. Thank you to the doctors and hospital staff for prolonging his life for as long as you could have.
  
  Chris will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who he connected with.

• It is with our deepest regret to inform you that Christopher Harry Pelech has passed away at the age of 56 on May 12th 2021 while recovering from a second liver transplant.
  
  Chris was born on December 30th 1964 to his mother Elizabeth (Eleniak) and father Harry Pelech. He grew up in Edmonton Alberta with his brother Greg and sister Val. At the age of 22, he moved to Toronto where he met his wife Uria (St Luce). The couple got happily married and had two sons named Christopher & Kevin, and a daughter named Sarah.
  
  He passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved wife and his three children. Chris will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who he connected with.
